We are a true one-stop-shop for this client as we were able to develop the site — in terms of content, as well as back-end coding — plus we provide Webmaster Hosting services.

Because they take advantage of the Mental Models Webmaster Hosting Services, the folks at LaBranche Financial Services can concentrate on their core business without the worries of about maintaining their online presence. We host their site on our servers in a state-of-the-art hosting facility; and we take care of the continuous content updates, routine maintenance, availability monitoring and ongoing back-ups.

Development:

The site was created using JSP technology to facilitate updates and enhance flexibility. Flash components (like the one at the top of this page, on the right) were incorporated for additional visual appeal and messaging. Pop-up menus, as pictured below, were created using DHTML. These menus work nicely on PCs and Macs using IE5+ or Netscape6+. (Something that is not always the case with this type of dynamic menu.)
