Taleo offers a variety of solutions that allow companies of all sizes to recruit, assess, and develop talent. This project focused on improving the User Experience of the candidate when applying for a job online. The solution has been deployed at over 200 large employers across all industries and in over 100 countries.

Requirements included making the application Section 508 Accessibility compatible, easily localizable to different languages, and flexible enough to integrate with the each client’s branding and able to mesh with the form factor of their web sites.

Mental Models applied rapid prototyping techniques, iterative user testing, and innovative AJAX coding techniques to not only boost overall usability, but also to dramatically improve the experience of users accessing the pages via assistive technologies such as screen readers.
